Apart from being the drummer for Seek Irony, I worked as a professional session drummer for ten years before moving to the US about a year and a half ago. I used to play drums for half of the music industry in Israel. So far, I’ve recorded drums on over fifty records and performed over a thousand shows in my drumming career.Right before moving to the US, I was asked to record drums for a special musical project on a song that involved Israel and China’s top singers and was meant to celebrate a twenty-year anniversary of diplomacy between the two countries. I am a fully-certified music educator of 18 years: I have taught both middle school band & choir to at-risk youth for 3 years, as well as elementary music at a private Christian academy for an additional 3 years. I highly encourage my students to listen to various artists so that they have a good example of what they are supposed to sound like. I also like to play in the lessons with my students so I can model things for them, and it gives them a concrete example of what to do, rather than just having an abstract idea of it.
