My personal teaching experience began while studying in Phladelphia at teh Unviersity of the Arts. As I started my 5 year Music Education minor/clearence program, I started to adapt what I was learning and develop my own style and flow of teaching. I began tutoring my friends and fellow classmates after school in the music library on campus, teaching them compex jazz theory, ProTools/Logic DAW shortcuts and processes, piano accompaniment, intervals, inversions,  rhythmic dictation, bascally reinforcing what we learned earlier in the class. For beginning students who are young, I usually start with just a snare drum. Learning stick holding and striking technique, and then move onto adding pieces of the drumset to play on. From there, I go onto introducing learning note values, and drum music reading. For adults, I may start the same way, but also discuss what they would like to focus on. Since, I have played for multiple different artists, on multiple major record labels. I have also worked with some of the world's leading producers, the men behind songs you hear every day on the radio, as a studio drummer and/or bass player. Artists ranging from Aly AJ on Disney Channel to spaced-out mixed symphonic electronica with Paul Oakenfold, the English DJ legend. Though my time so far in LA, I have had the chance to aquaint myself with many other backing band musicians, for other artists or shows, from lead-guitarist Rafael Moreira (NBC The Voice, Pink, Christina Aguilera) and the guys gigging with Chris Cornell, to the younger rhythm section for Macy Gray.
