I have taught the drums in a variety of settings for 15 years. In Australia I worked for the South Australian Government in the Instrumental Music Service for 3 years. I provided group drum lessons to students ranging from elementary to senior high school age with a total of 40 lessons each week, at 10 different schools to over 100 students! I fell in love with the instrument and dedicated my life to becoming a professional musician. When I was 18 I moved to Boston to pursue a degree at Berklee College of Music where I graduated in 2017. Furthermore, I update and change my methods if I feel the current method is becoming ineffective. I start with teaching the student a song, at his/her level, by listening to the record and by my example. After that I like to go back and give written out exercises and notes on what we did in the song.
