My teaching experience dates back to 2008, teaching middle school private lessons as well as high school group lessons. I really enjoy teaching because of the experiences I had with my teachers in my early years of learning the drums and I've always wanted to give that information to others. I am very patient having the ability to teach any age level as well as ability level. For me, the biggest thrill as a teacher comes from watching the enthusiasm on the face of my student who is having fun during their lesson. Creating a positive environment, where the student can learn at a pace that will suit their needs, experience, and goals is one of my highest priorities. I have been steadily teaching private lessons since I was at Berklee, nearly 10 years ago. I almost always have taught lessons at my own studio where students come to me because that always seems to be the most conducive environment for learning and getting inspired. At that time, I would teach younger kids who were interested in learning music. in 2015 however, I took on a full time schedule of music students, traveling to homes in the greater Boston area to teach.
