During my time at Hartt and NYU, I have performed with the Hartt School Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, the NYU Orchestra, as well as the hart School Contemporary music ensemble, and performed recitals as a soloist, and as a member of my flute quartet and flute and guitar duo. I have participated in summer festivals such as the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, and the Banff Festival Orchestra. In May of 2014 I graduated with my Master's degree in flute performance from the Yale School of Music. My musical passion is chamber music, and new music. This focus has led me to found a professional woodwind quintet, Sounding Board, and to pursue my second Master's degree in a specialized contemporary performance program at Manhattan School of Music. This will range within the genres of jazz or classical performance, which also will include listening to and discussing what makes a performance excellent. I have specific background in flute sound and tone production have been the student of the renown flutist and teacher, Frances Blaisdell.
