For more advanced students, I typically have a lesson plan or a direction that I want to go after assessing strengths and weaknesses. For example I have 3 students already in Berklee and another student is in Juliard, NY. Other students, are non musicians wanting to learn saxophone and music. I'm a passionalte and motivated flute instructor who loves working with students of all ages. I am committed to shaaring my love of music with all my students. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University in 1989. Until that time, I was a member of the local symphony as well as playing in other symphonies, musical theater, private events, chamber groups, etc. I then moved to Dallas, TX where I attended and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a master's in Music Education and Flute Performance.
