Ms. Kaitlin H. has also attended and performed in masterclasses with Carol Wincenc, Paul Edmund Davies, and Dr. Andrea Loewy. I have seven years of teaching experience from beginners to advanced high school students. My teaching career began in 2015 as a teacher for The Joseph and Anthony Manzi Foundation Summer Band Camp. This camp was where I discovered my love for teaching. In the following years, I gained experience teaching private lessons in both my home studio and students’ homes. In lessons with beginner and intermediate students, I utilize the Rubank method books. Once a student has mastered those, we move onto etude books. I assign scale exercises and repertoire to all of my students, and I like to introduce beginner music theory when appropriate. My students practice duets and sight-reading in lessons with me, and this combination of materials gives the student the most comprehensive learning experience.
