I established the Stanton School Afro-Brazilian Drum ensembles, the Orff Ensembles and three choruses. I have also taught at the collegiate level at Eisenhower College for 8 years. I played clarinet with the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and the flute and piano as a soloist for community events, weddings and church services. I have been passionate about music and teaching from a very young age. I began playing the flute at age 10 and eagerly continued, participating in every musical opportunity I had in middle school, high school, and college. In 2010, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Susquehanna University with my Bachelors in Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in flute. My teaching experience dates back to high school. I was a student leader in the marching band, serving as the woodwind captain for the marching band and the senior student conductor for the concert bands. With these positions, I was able to tutor peers and work on expanding my knowledge of teaching music.
