I have been teaching students of all ages since 2010. I have been teaching both in my home studio and at the students home, I have also taught in Public Schools and in Music stores. My goal as a teacher is to get students excited about music and have them looking forward to our lessons together and inspire them to learn more and practice. The Trumpet is my main instrument but as a certified Music Educator I'm comfortable and highly qualified to teach many different instruments such as all of the Brass Instruments ( Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, French horn, Euphonium, Flugelhorn etc) and all of the Reed instruments (Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute) as well as Piano and Voice. I keep track each week in a notebook of what their assignments are. I use many different books, learning by ear, learning by youtube, learning by rout, and I have developed my own music writing technique which decodes any song at any level to a much easier level because all students are unique, and deserve to have a teacher who can reach them. The method books I use vary depending on the student and the district they attend. If a student isnt committed to one particular type of method book, I usually suggest the Standard of Excellence series because I feel it has a logical order of progression in terms of concepts.
