In the fall of 2013 I was chosen among a select few international students to study with Maestro, Oscar Ghiglia in the Incontri Chirarristici di Gargnano in Northern Italy. When faced with a new student I always ask them what type of music they are into and what are they interested in learning and how that type of music makes them feel.  I implement materials of my own design mixed with songs of the students choosong and tastes, and typically have them up and playing a song or two that they like in a couple of lessons.  All ages, styles, and expereince levels are welcome. For reading,  I like to use a combination of notation, tabs and chord diagrams.  And while I dont absolutely insist that the student learn to read notation, I do strongly encourage it. Read More

David began composing and producing commercial music shortly after graduating high school, working for Panoptic Media. In middle school, I began performing and teaching music during the summers at Vacation Bible School for children ages 3-10. Throughout high school, as a member of a variety of bands, I performed at a wide array of venues around New England. During this time, I ventured into song writing and musical arrangement. I also spent some time giving private trombone, bass, and guitar lessons in high school.
