Afterwards I was fortunate to study with the great Jerry Jemmott on Long Island (Aretha Franklin and BB King's bassist). He taught me approaches to music that changed my life. I do not teach from prefabricated books but rather teach songs to students and within those songs there are lessons. I have devised my own teaching methods which have been highly successful.
