I recently received my Bachelors degree from Winona State University in Music Business and Jazz studies. I have toured with various groups and recorded several albums. I started teaching in high-school. I taught guitar and drums from ages 7 to 55, from the absolute beginner to someone rekindling an old habit. I had the opportunity to use the lessons I was learning in college while I was still in college. I not only was a tutor, but I had some students outside of school. This helped my skills as a teacher improve quickly. I have always enjoyed teaching others. Even in high school, I consistently helped my peers with their learning and enjoyed helping them learn how to play percussion instruments. After starting college in 2009, I began formally teaching percussion privately and in groups at high schools in my area. I have since expanded to teaching guitar, bass guitar, and composition, incorporating compositional elements into all of my lessons. My name is Jeehoon. I’ve studied voice performance over 15 years in Korea and the United States. In 2018, I completed and received a doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota. For 15 years, I conducted church and professional choirs and participated in many performances as an opera singer on stage.
