I will then begin to work into fingering,picking,chords and other basic elements. Beginners are also instructed on the foundation of all music which is melody,harmony and rythym. For the more advanced student I find, most want to know more about technique, finding their own sound, theory and a more advanced knowledge of how to increase their abilities on guitar. I evaluate the students natural and practiced skills and build from there using a variety of techniques that I have used myself to learn the guitar on an advanced level I create my own lessons plans based on the student. I am an enthusiastic and compassionate instructor who loves to share my musical knowledge with those eager and willing to learn. I received a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2018 and became a board-certified music therapist in January of 2019. With this degree and profession comes the knowledge and skillset of numerous instruments, including voice (my primary instrument), guitar, piano, and ukulele.
