I have taught dozens students from over 20 countries about songwriting, guitar playing, singing, lyric writing, piano, ukulele and more. Since 2011 I have played in over 1000 stages, starting in my hometown of Corrientes, Argentina, at first playing on the streets for tips and later moving onto bars, later theaters, and now touring full time. During my undergraduate studies in college, I put myself through school teaching private lessons in my home and at various music stores, churches, and performing arts schools, teaching around 200 students in 5 years. When I went back to school to get my masters degree, I was awarded an assistantship and taught music theory, music appreciation, jazz ensembles, and jazz improvisiation at the university, in addition to keeping a robust private guitar studio on the side. For beginners, I show them basic chords (Major, Minor and Diminished) if they're a guitarist and if they're a bassist, I teach them octaves and basic waking lines. Once they progress, I show them common scales and chord progressions used in modern music and focus on developing technique. If they're intermediate to advanced, I ask them what they feel they need work on and we focus on that.
