I attended Youngstown State University and Anderson University studying music education and business. The student also gets a great selection of repertoire to go along with the basics of technique in each. My number one rule for teaching is patience and setting small goals each week. Every student should want to pick up the instrument days after the lesson. Once certain fundamentals have been established I will begin to introduce a repertoire based on the student's interests and skill level. Depending on the age of the student I will start them on Berklee's Guitar Method I if they are old enough.
