Instead, I teach them how to make time during the day, how to adjust their attitude towards practicing, and exactly what obstacles they will need to overcome in disciplining themselves to practice. For beginner students, I start with some fundamental basics but I always try to keep the information relatable to each individual student no matter what their skill level. I take a very individualized approach for each student and tailor the lessons just for them depending on what the student is interested in and their skill level. I like to teach by demonstrating information through songs that each student enjoys.
