I am a multi-instumentalist/performer/teacher who loves working with students of all ages and musical backgrounds. My specialty is classical music, but I am also a singer/songwriter! I have a masters degree in Oboe Performance from the prestigious CCM, at the University of Cincinnati. I live as a freelance oboist, pianist, and vocalist in New York City, and am currently recording my first full length album. I wanted to improve on my ability to teach other people how to play and be able to break down to its simplest form in order for people to really understand. I had noticed that some people did very well with lessons and some people struggled trying to understand certain concepts in music, so by doing this unique study in education I was able to find what it was exactly that was that was sticking people and getting them to not understand what was going on and be able to unstick them from their confusion and be able to move them in their progress in their education and in their lessons.
