I prefer to take on students who are considered "intermediate" or at least working toward the intermediate level and advance because I specialize in developing a singer's performance quality. Teaching and music are my true passions in life because I love seeing my student grow and music brings people together. I graduated from the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) where I studied instrumental music. SOTA is an arts magnet high school that performs at a pre-professional level. Through SOTA I performed over 100 concerts all around the Bay Area. I recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz where I was highly involved with the Santa Cruz music community. Read More

I began teaching informally to other musicians as part of my music practice, and found that I had a love of passing on what I've learned. I began teaching voice and beginning piano in 2019, and have kept it up ever since. I have taught pre-K children through adult professionals, with every age and skill level in between. I have been teaching music for 8 years now. My experience includes wind ensembles, jazz orchestras, jazz combos, and chamber groups. I currently hold a position at Chabot Community as the Low Brass Instructor and Jazz Trombone Instructor. I teach all ages ranging from elementary school all the way up to the collegiate level. I currently work for notable organizations such as the Stanford Jazz Workshop where I mentor various junior high to high school aged students who are part of an all-star auction based ensemble.
