Every student is different, so my teaching approach is rarely identical from student to student. Technical training progresses as a student develops motivation through his or her practice habits. I try to encourage practice through journal entry and self-accountability. I also try to make a student's home practice a little more exciting by setting goals and explaining what will be accomplished through achieving these short-term goals. Then the student will receive the appropriate instructions. However, I usually improve and enlarge the students' relation to his instrument.
