The first question is: do you love your instrument? The second one is: how much do you want to play your instrument? The last one: why do you want do play your instrument? Then the student will receive the appropriate instructions. However, I usually improve and enlarge the students' relation to his instrument. I have been playing saxophone for more than 20 years. I was awarded multiple scholarships at South Plains College to play in their Symphonic and Jazz Bands. I have many years of experience playing at in my church choir as well. As a result of which I have played professionally at numerous weddings and other similar events. I love teaching students privately one on one. My youngest student was 4; a Piano student. She was from a Russian family and didn’t speak a word of English. Teaching her was a joint effort between myself and the girl’s mother who did speak English; a very interesting experience. My oldest student was 86; a Guitar student. He had studied previously with another instructor and loved to play.
