For beginning students who are children, I typically start with teaching basic music theory, scales, and start with John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course for the piano students. For Cello beginning students, it's very important to have a correct playing position. Therefore, we will spend some time on knowing cello, position for both hands, and then we will start with Suzuki. My teaching experience started when i was 16 years old and i was known as a rock guitar player around the school when all the sudden i had friends of mine approach me asking for lessons, i started teaching beginner lessons since it was an area i could master easily and i also wanted to get in touch with what being a teacher was in the first place.
