I have been teaching for nearly as long as I've been playing. In 2017, I graduated Mansfield University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Business while focusing on Percussion. Though I began playing drum set at the age of 5, I've grown to perform and teach in all areas of percussion. I have been fortunate enough to tour the east coast with various bands and have performed in notable venues such as The Orpheum Theatre in Boston, the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach SC, Sloppy Joe's in Key West FL, and Carnegie Hall. I began teaching in 2010 as a private lesson instructor. In 2016, I began working for a teaching school in New York City. I'm now based in Northeastern Pennsylvania and looking to cultivate a community of musicians through a shared love of the craft. Im big on using a metronome for all students and for them having a binder to keep all their papers. I find that if students can get down a sense of rhythm everything than falls into place which is where the meternome comes in. For instance learning a song well get down first the groove or the flow and rhythm of the song and than we work on cleaning up mistakes to make the song more accurate. Read More

The best thing is when my students are invested in their own progress, because I can help provide the needed skills to grow at different paces.
