I began teaching guitar in 2002 while still attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. That's when I found my true calling in life and I have now taught hundreds of students. Several of my former students have even gone on to obtain part-time and full-time music careers. I've also helped several of my students with college auditions so that they too can become musicians, like me. Music is a way of life for me and I can't think of anything more rewarding. Read More

I'm a classically trained violinist, violist and pianist. I received my Bachelors degree and Masters Degree in Music from Florida International University's School of Music. I have been teaching music for almost 10 years and have experience with a wide age group. I took the Teachers Certification Course for the O'Connor Method which is a country/americana style violin method book. Read More

I am a passionate musician and educator that wants to help spread love and appreciation of music throughout the world. I believe that music has a great capacity to heal and unite people; it is truly a universal language. I have a great passion for classical music, jazz, and music from different cultures around the world. I compose, arrange, and perform as a soloist and collaborator. I have studied piano performance at the Alfred Cortot School in Paris, at Florida Atlantic University, and at Algoma University in Canada- the latter from which I graduated in 2016. Read More

I'm mostly focused on keeping my students engaged with music. Some decide it can be a lifetime career, while others simply want to enjoy all the benefits that come from learning an instrument. Our lessons are meant to challenge you enough so you feel motivated but not so much that the challenge appears as impossible and students feel like quitting. This to me is the basic principle of how to achieve a balanced and successful life. Read More

My style consists of trial and error, accompanied with determination of student preferences. I've experienced a range of different students, from beginner to advanced, as well as children who were special needs students. Initially, once a students preferred style of music is deduced, I'll find songs within the students preferences, skill range and or even construct a song specifically for that student to learn fundamentals. Whether a student needs work on technique, rhythm or practical knowledge of music theory, there's no end of methods to utilize to help a student attained to their desired level of proficiency. I have more than 30 years of successful teaching experience. In my lessons I try to create a pedagogical environment of great quality, encouraging my students making them feel stimulated, respected and confident. I believe that my success as a teacher is based in the tailoring of the teaching to the conditions, circumstances and goals of the students, guiding them with enthusiastic encouragement and respecting them taking into account their personal unique characteristics; each student is a world in itself and I like to see their smile when they realize that it is true what I told them, yes, you can! It is rewarding to teach piano. If a student is really interested in learning, it is such a pleasure. If they are young, I usually use a book that includes cartoons between lessons. For adults I use an adult book, but try to include a solo that they can handle that relates to a season or something they are interested in playing. There are many books on the market. I usually chose one that suits the students personality. Read More
