I teach the with Suzuki method. The Suzuki Method focuses on the Mother Tongue Method and was created by Dr. Sinichi Suzuki. He, and I, believe that every child is able to play music beautifully. The main objective that I personally strive for is to ensure that my students are properly recognized for their hard work. I've seen many instances when kids will stop participating in extracurricular activities due to lack of positive support from those they would expect it from. I believe that validation, especially from the parents, truly helps students maintain an interest in music. It helps them develop a personal drive to succeed not only in music, but in life. Read More

I tailor my lessons to each individual student. Students learn at different rates, so, therefore, I want each student to progress at his or her own pace, without comparison to where my other students may be at. I want learning an instrument to be an enjoyable experience, and though the student may have to do and play practices, exercises, and pieces that they may not necessarily enjoy in the moment, it will all be beneficial to him or her in the long run and I will incorporate pieces and selections that interest them as well. Instruments: Bass Guitar
I approach teaching from a relax and laidback standpoint. I want to talk to the student as a friend and helper. My desire is to not make the student rebellious or nervous from my teaching methods. I start off on all my lessons asking my students what do they want to learn from my lessons. I ask them what genre do they want to know the most? How will learning bass guitar help them in their personal life? Read More
Instruments: Guitar Voice Harmonica
As stated above, my teaching style can vary with each student's individual needs. But I hope that my passion for music informs every session and inspires all students. Read More
