I am a very motivated instructor who really loves helping students of all ages. I am orginally from the Midwest and moved to New York City to persue opera performing. Recently, my family and I relocated to the Buffalo area and I am looking forward to working with some of the local musicians. For students of any level, I tend to always focus on mastering breathing and classical technique. I believe that it is imperative that students develop this way as it is fundamental to any true vocalist. My methods are quite particular to the individual and their natural strengths and weaknesses, but I approach every student with a tried and true structure that leads to fast and noticeable results. If a student is a young beginner, the most important thing is simply to grow their love of music. For an intermediate adult, I will present new challenges to eliminate weaknesses and grow strengths that also still encourage fun. If a student is taking lessons to become a college or professional pianist, I will introduce repertoire, music theory, music history, and techniques that will be crucial information and skills to advance in the competitive world of piano.
