After the student grasps the fundamentals I introduce solo pieces to build a repertoire so that they may grow their musical knowledge and become a better musician. Lip slurs, long tones, embouchure amp; tuning are all key assets for beginners. Now for my advanced players we will definitely start in the music bible (The Arban Book) and work from start to finish.
