I stated playing the Flute and Violin when I was 9 years old and have been involved in music ever since. I went on to participate in any music class I could take during high school including Concert band, Jazz band, Marching band, Drum-line, and Orchestra. Music is like a language all it's own, and I try to teach it similarly to how we naturally learn language. Growing up we don't learn by grammar and rules, but by listening to others. I make sure they are prepared with everything needed to play songs/pieces, as well as all that is needed for improvisation and solos. When I teach, I dont force a certain technique or method on students, but rather I teach what is best suited for them. On top of that, I always motivate my students with adequate goals.
