I usually find out the student's musical preferences and try to pick songs from that style, meanwhile, introducing them to classical music or folk music and helping them pick music to work on from that genre.  I follow a similar pattern with flute lessons. I completed my Bachelors of Music at Mannes College in 2012. I have also completed my Masters of Music at Rice University under the instruction of acclaimed voice teacher, Dr. Stephen King. In April of 2014, I performed the role of Lady Billows in their 2014 production of Brittens Albert Herring. Over the summer, I also performed extensively with Aspen Music Festival, singing Pamina, Despina and La Contessa in Opera Scenes Master Classes and understudying Sybil Vane in The Picture of Dorian Grey. When I went to college, I tutored freshman and sophomore piano majors to prepare them for jury (College competition evaluation at the end of sophomore year to determine if that student can continue in the music program).
