I love music and I love teaching! I graduated in 2014 with my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Utah State University and, in 2018, my Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Kansas. I had the opportunity to be a part of the Chamber Singers at both schools where I was able to perform across Utah as well as Dallas, Kansas City, China and Costa Rica. I love teaching piano and violin lessons to students of all ages from beginner to upper intermediate levels. I studied piano performance with Robert Smith and violin performance with Percy Kalt at BYU; I have also studied with Jeffrey Shumway, former Head of Keyboard Studies, BYU and Carroll Meyer, Boise State University. These wonderful teachers guided and inspired me to attain and pass on classical technique and style to the next generation of musicians. Read More

I started teaching privately in 2010 as part of a class assignment, and discovered I really enjoy doing it. I also love teaching and conducting choirs and have done that in various capacities for the past several years. I really believe that singing in choir is the best vocal training for young students. Choral singing and solo singing do not have to be opposite worlds! Both can be done healthily, and I like helping students discover this, or even just discover a new hobby. Read More

Hello! My name is David, I'm Brazilian and I've been playing guitar since I was 11 years old. I am a composer, guitarist, singer and I was a member of Cadillac Dinossauros, a Brazilian rock band for 16 years. During this period I developed an authentic way of playing as well as stage techniques. At the same time, I also taught guitar as an independent teacher for 6 years. Repertoire from the Suzuki books are fundamental stepping stones into becoming a better musician.
