I have been teaching privately since 2006. I specialize in jazz drum set, but I can teach all sorts of styles of music as well. In addition to drum set, I teach rudimental, marching and classical snare drum, classical percussion (mallets, timpani), afro-cuban percussion (congas, bongos, timbales), sight reading, music theory, and beginning piano. My musical involvements at school are focused in my performances with the CSUF Wind Symphony and the CSUF Symphony Orchestra, where I served as the principal clarinet for our last concert season. While I've been in college ,I've been fortunate to play in music festivals in both the US (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival) and Canada (Domaine Forget) and toured with the CSU Fullerton Wind Symphony in Portugal and China. In May 2017 I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Professional Music (Drum Set Performance Music Production).
