Currently, I teach students from schools involved in TMEA and ATSSB. My students have had success in All Region auditions, Area auditions, and solo and ensemble. I taught high school choral music for over 20 years in Southern California.  I have been teaching private piano for the last 15 years, the past 4 years in my piano studio and prior to that, 10 years with the Frisco School of Music in Frisco TX.  I am a member of Music Teachers National Associaton, Texas Music Teachers Assocation, and locally, the Denton Music Teachers Association. I earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2008 and 2009 in Euphonium Performance and Music Education from the University of North Texas while studying with the renowned Dr. Brian Bowman. While there, I advanced to the final round of a United States Navy Band audition.
