Instruments: Piano Music
My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 24years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 11years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my high school days when I began teaching private lessons to members of my church. I continued teaching through college and am currently looking for new students. I have worked with students from ages 4 to 18. My students are encouraged to enter competitions and recitals, as well as work on composing their own original material, so they can feel good about their accomplishments and stay motivated to learn. Hello, dear musicians! If you are not looking for your typical violin lesson, you have come to the right place. I started playing violin in a Suzuki method program, which taught me the importance of training your ear. I honed in my classical skills, and thereon pursued the unconventional in violin genres my going to Berklee College of Music. It gave me possibility to expand my ear even more with free improvisation, jam band, jazz, rock, funk, blues, pop, Middle Eastern and Latin genres, on top of orchestral and quartet playing. Read More
Instruments: Piano
My favorite part of teaching is witnessing the student's joy as he or she plays his or her first piece from beginning to end with full confidence. In order to achieve this I provide as much encouragement as possible in well performed passages, and zero-in on trickier passages. I require that my students practice as regularly as possible and most of their assigned homework consists in suggesting strategies or exercises to master those trickier passages as soon as possible and move on to even trickier ones. Instruments: Saxophone Music
Learning an instrument is no easy task, and it can be daunting, especially in front of another person with more experience than you. Anywhere my lessons take place is a "shame free zone" where students should never be afraid to make mistakes and learn at their own pace. I like to keep things positive: progress is great and exciting, and I firmly believe that students progress faster and more consistently when they're happy and proud of what they've accomplished. Instruments: Piano
My solo repertoire includes pieces ranging from Baroque era to modern music, which makes me a unique expert in piano performance in regards to styles, various techniques and musical interpretation. Also, I have taken numerous private master-classes from well known piano masters such as Boris Berman (Dean of piano department at Yale University), Alexander Korsantia (Professor at New England Conservatory, winner of Rubinstein international piano competition), Jura Margulis (Professor at Arkansas University), Ian Fountain (Professor at Royal Academy of Music in London), which makes me familiar with different music teaching "schools" of performance.
