I have performed with several regional orchestras including, the Erie Philharmonic, Youngstown Symphony, Akron Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, and the Pittsburgh Symphony. Read More
Instruments: Violin Viola
I have been teaching violin and viola for the last 10 years. My students have ranged from 4 thru 25 years of age. I love teaching the violin and viola to students who desire to learn the instruments regardless of their goals for the instrument. Art comes in all forms, in my mind. I believe that building the framework of ability is only the tip of the iceberg, and I have encouraged my students to tinker on the piano as well as practice their lessons. Learning what styles they enjoy and what their strengths are helps them to be creative, even in writing their own music. Read More

I believe in making lessons fun. I listen to my students to learn what their goals are and develop lessons based around their needs. Whether students just want to learn how to play along to their favorite songs or they aim to perform live, I will use all of my resources in the industry to prepare lessons that will inspire, challenge and entertain them. For classical guitar students, I've found the best methods to building a good foundation as well as technique is both the Christopher Parkening and Frederick Noad methods. The student also gets a great selection of repertoire to go along with the basics of technique in each.
