I am a caring and compassionate vocal music teacher and I teach to intermediate level piano and theory as well. I believe music is for everybody and should be explored. I usually will put together a bundle exercises compile of flute methods and exercises I create myself to help the student progress. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. I have been teaching in the States for about 9 years. It is a pleasure for me to hear my students progress from their first steps as timid, first-time players to confident and more musically mature young musicians. My students participate in a monthly MDML recital and an annual music test organized by the MMTA. When Traveling home to Missouri for the summer periods, I would perform with the SEMO Regional Jazz Orchestra, Cape Municipal Band, and the Jackson Municipal Band. As a student performer I have made appearances at the International Trombone Festival, International Womens Brass Conference, Bands of America, Kentucky Music Educators Association, 3 NCAA tournaments, and the Elmhurst Jazz Festival.
