Instruments: Piano Organ Keyboard

My preferred methodology uses the Alfred series books, as well as the Faber Piano Adventure series as supplemental material. I use a combination of note names and intervals to teach reading skills. I also like to incorporate theory into every lesson. Once we have the basics down, I like the student to tell me what he/she would enjoy playing, and I'll do my best to incorporate that, or something similar to that.  Also, I prefer that the student have access to a real piano rather than a keyboard. Instruments: Piano Voice

For voice I create my own custon lesson plans and use a variety of materials. Students will work on a great variety of repetorie from pop to renaissance. Students are encourgaed to learn to read music, with a great emphasis placed upon practical music theory. I aim to develop intellegent musical artists, foscuing upon intrepretation, critical thinking, historical considerations and creativity. For piano I general use the Faber and Faber method books unless I feel that a particular method would better benefit a specific student. Read More

I had worked with a public primary school’s students and had some experience to work with 6 classes (each contains 60 students) before I earned a Bachelor's Degree during required practical training. Through explaining music knowledge to children from 6-year-olds to 12-year-olds I learned to communicate with people with patient explanations and the deep understanding of people’s situations. I taught Keyboard, Baroque Harmonicas, Singing and very basic Music Theory in the primary school. Read More

Instruments: Piano Guitar Voice Keyboard

I am a dedicated musician and teacher who loves what I do. My life has been rich with various musical experiences in many different genres. I enjoy them all from classical to pop and rock. My joy is watching people grow in their music endeavors and helping them along the way. I believe in teaching music that builds and strong foundation and brances out inro the music that the student is most interested in for I find that that really motivates them and makes the necessary practicing much less of a chore! Instruments: Flute Piccolo

I believe the most rewarding thing about being a teacher is seeing a student come into their lessons excited and passionate about their playing. One of the things I find encourages students to practice is to give them mini rewards when they successfully play a piece or etude, such as stickers or stamps. My first teacher did this for me and it was always very exciting to pick out which sticker I wanted in my music. Read More

Instruments: Guitar Bass Guitar

There are as many different teaching styles as there are students. Everyone learns differently, at their own pace. I love private lessons because you can get to know the student and their learning style, and tailor the material to suit them. Its my job to motivate and help them find their own voice as a player. I love doing that! Read More

Instruments: Saxophone Flute Clarinet Bassoon

I began teaching private lessons when starting college, and have maintained a studio of various woodwind students of various ages since 2011. In the time between then, I have been involved as a private instructor, small chamber coach, full band director, and covered any other position possible for many schools; I have ample experience in teaching and performing many styles common in the school system. My experience has led me to find ways to work with students as individuals, and adapt to their wants and needs to keep them engaged in the learning process. Read More
