For my beginning trumpet students I always make sure to start them off with a solid warm up routine. I start them off with long tones which helps them to establish a great sound. Building a great trumpet sound is necessary, and happens by creating a warm up routine the student can do every day. Turned out to be the best decision I ever made as I left the retail world within 1 more year and never went back.
