I Have been playing the guitar for 15 years and have been teaching for 10 years. From 2005 - 2008 I studied Guitar Performance and Music Theory at The Musicians Institute of Hollywood, CA. Over the years I have played and recorded with several bands including Slow Motion Rider, Ecstatic Union, Micah Brown Band and other small projects. For beginner students who are children, I tend to lean into the music that they are more fond of listening to and develop an atmosphere of interest while using various colors, singing methods, rhymes that will grasp their attention and in the long run develop their ear.
