I am currently a piano and voice instructor at Bronx House Inc. as well as a piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele instructor with Blue Balloon Songwriting school. The start of my teaching career dates back to 2004 when I was a music director and pit conductor for musical theaters at the K-12, Collegiate, Community, and Regional levels in the greater Philadelphia area until 2012. Throughout that time, I had taken on private students of all ages for both piano and/or voice lessons. Read More

I like to design my lessons to fit the student's needs. I'm laid-back, easy going, and patient. What's most important to me is that the student is having fun and is comfortable. Giving back what I have learned is very rewarding for me. We will set realistic short-term and long-term goals building a solid foundation. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone
I like to be a positive and encouraging teacher. I believer that by fostering a positive and safe environment, I can help students feel free to take chances and develop in a way that feeds into and grows their love of music. I stress fundamentals regardless of the preferred style of music that a student might be pursuing. Each student comes with different interests, learning styles, and a unique way of approaching problem solving. Read More
Instruments: Trumpet Trombone Euphonium French Horn Tuba
I help each student not only meet their goals on their instrument, but also to meet their goals in life. If a student is interested in music, I strive to help them discover their big "Why?". Why do they play their instrument, and what is their reason for making music. I believe in coach-based teaching. In other words, the student is on their journey to discover how to achieve their goals, and I am a coach to guide them on their way. Read More
Instruments: Violin Viola
I set different goals for each student. I realize that every student learns at a different pace and has special ways of comprehending the information. I want to push the student to work hard, but would never give them more than they can handle. I want my students to love music and look forward to practicing each day. I look for different ways to inspire them and motivate them to want to learn more. Read More
Instruments: Piano Clarinet
I am a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Studies. I have had the opportunity to perform and collaborate with artists all over the United States and, more recently, in Paris, France. I am a strong advocate for the arts, and being able to express yourself fully through it. This very well includes music. I feel that the way music is taught today does not emphasize the creative aspects of music enough. Read More
Instruments: Flute Music
I was certain I'd played terribly and would be forever shunned by the rock performing community, but it turns out nobody noticed my nerves - only the fact that I got up on stage and played that flute. This transformative moment for me led to many energetic performances, increasing in confidence each time. As an adult I've enjoyed performing in several ensembles including 8 years in a flute choir and various professional "jam sessions." I love performing, whether it be highly rehearsed and technical or improvisation. Read More
