Ive been teaching consistently for 10 years now. I taught all ages, from kindergarten kids to people over 60, kids with special needs, one on one classes, ensembles, full classrooms, and high school. If there's one thing that I learned throughout my career is that very student has a unique voice, so every voice needs to be approached in a unique way. I try to combine the best aspects of the instruction I received on piano and guitar, with useful and practical concepts (and styles) I had to seek out on my own. I enjoy allowing my students the freedom to pick what style of music they would like to learn and we go from there. After various performing opportunities in high school, I started my journey to become a music educator at the University of Miami in 2007. My participation in choral and theatre ensembles has taken me around the world practicing my passion and mastering my craft. I currently produce classical music concerts in addition to teaching private lessons. Throughout my singing career, I have had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall and Geffen Hall in New York, the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, and various locations throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Ecuador, and Spain. Most recently, I served as a teacher in the Department of General and Specialized Piano at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, teaching classics and jazz. I was the only teacher in the Academy who teaches improvisation. I have also written and published scientific articles, including "Theory of Music Harmony, Technique of Piano Performance, What is the Blues, and What is Jazz.
