I am an instructor who recognizes music as a powerful symbol of humanity and the dramatic emotional effects it has on people. I thoroughly enjoy sharing these experiences with my students, helping them to grow and become more acquainted with all that music has to offer. I graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in May of 2013. Since the age of 5 I've been playing the piano. I had my first recital at 5, at which I played Ode to Joy by Beethoven and I'm 49-years-old now and can still remember that. I have been in love with the piano my entire life and have been teaching piano to kids and adults since I went to college at 18.
