Natalie is a composer, pianist and flutist. She is graduated from her Master’s degree in Composition from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. She graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) for her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Composition and Music Production. Her composition Peach Blossom Spring for piano and vibraphone just received the innovative prize from Abundance Silence. From there students can progress to the advanced method, and work from Arbans method and Rochuts melodious etudes. Students interested in orchestral playing can start with Blazhevichs Clef Studies. For beginning students who are children, I like to start with Hal Leonard's Piano for Beginners. Progress will depend on the students' willingness to learn and practice as well as encouragement from their parents. For students who already have an understanding of basic fundamentals, I will assess their skill level and select music appropriate for their progression and level of play.
