My teaching experience back in the day was when I started working as a music teaching assistant more than 20 years ago. I will pay attention to the kids who were not be in learning music. That's what I thought, and I know I'll have to slow down and find the way that influencing their study or if they just want to be more active instead of sitting around. For 3-5 year olds on piano I use Wunderkeys and supplement with Bastien Music Tree and music I have written when note reading is introduced. Usually I continue into Faber and Faber but Wunderkeys is adding more method books for beginners 5+ and I may start using that once it is available for purchase.
