Pop, jazz and other genres of music could be explored, depending on the goals of the student. As a jazz musician, I find that learning multiple styles opens up whole worlds of expression and concept. I will use a variety of materials and my own knowledge to guide the student through the rudiments while making the lesson fun and rewarding. I have taught violin, music theory, chamber music, and repertoire throughout my career.
