I love to sing and have a passion for music. I have been performing since I could walk. I use a variety of methods, custom-fit for each student individually. I teach Classical and church piano, along with sightreading, ear training, performance techniques, music theory, and other techniques specially designed to give my students the most well-rounded learning experience possible. I tend to prefer Piano Adventures for younger students and teens, and incorporate use of the corresponding app whenever possible. I tailor my lessons specifically to each students goals and needs and I always make sure to let them know how much theyre progressing. Playing the piano is one of the biggest joys of my life, and I love to share that with as many people as possible. Practice is important, but smart practice is essential. I help the student to practice efficiently without wasting time or energy. Smart practice also means to get results and achieve goals quickly. Technique is tremendously important in order to execute the music. Classical music is the fundamental and first step a student needs to take in order to learn and perform music properly. I encourage my students to not get frustrated. there is a method, and it does not take long to recognize the methods, and how they fall together. I'm extremely passionate about making music and enabling others to make music. In 2010, I graduated from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sacred Music. During my time at PC, I sang and accompanied the Presbyterian College Choir, Cantare!
