I start all students with getting a firm grasps of the basics of tone production and air support. I do this through long tone exercises as well as scale work to start learning more notes on the instrument. I focus on slowing incorporating more dynamics, articulation, and time signatures from there. With my primary insturment being flute, I began teaching private lessons in 2008 while I was still in high school. I taught the younger flute students in the Worthington School Distrct. When I started college, I continued to teach flute lessons and I then began teach saxophone lessons as well.
