While at Baylor, I was a member of the trombone studio under Brent Phillips. I played in all the instrumental ensembles avaliable to play in as a trombonist. I also studied piano as my secondary instrument in college. I always try to ask the student what the scene of a movie would be if they are playing the soundtrack, and get them to convey that when they play.
