I hold a Master's Degree in Trumpet Performance from Long Island University C.W Post and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education K-12 from Manhattanville College. I am in my third year as the Director of local High School Marching Band as well as a sitting member of the New York State Field Band Conference Executive Council as a Representative. In addition to working from the popular school method books and any band music I will assign different things for my students to work on to keep our lessons fun and engaging. Once they have began to learn the techniques to properly play, I will begin them with repitoire that I find suitable for them to play and also what they would like to learn so this way the students are learning what they want, which makes the music learning process even more enjoyable! At Yale, I became a Teaching Artist in 2015 and gave private lessons to Yale Undergraduate students.
