I begin by assessing each student's level, as well as their needs and desires, and then form a plan of action to address those needs. I use many books to start students and usually spend most of the lesson in the Arban's Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet (Cornet). I like students to study classic trumpet solo's literature.
