My favorite part about teaching, is the idea of passing my knowledge on, and making sure that the student knows that he or she can accomplish anything with the right tools. A very important aspect to my enjoyment of all of these pursuits is the degree to which they actually connect and overlap with many other topics and disciplines- science, mathematics, visual art, language and sociology all intersect with music at one point or another. About me? Well I'm a driven man who works hard and will work harder to see my students succeed. I started playing the trumpet in middle school and fell in love with the instrument. Since then I've advanced my studies through high school and college by playing in all sorts of bands and genres.
