In addition, I ask students what they are interested in playing, to give the student a sense of ownership and signifigance in their progress. The eagerness and commitment to perfecting my craft both technically and artistically as a violinist coupled with my passion for promoting Azerbaijan, brought me to the United States of America where I earned my Doctorate degree in violin performance at Temple University (Philadelphia).
