I am a classical violinist with a very deep passion for classical music. I did my Bachelor's from 2016 to 2020 in Music Performance at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey ad I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in music, also at the Mason Gross School of the Arts. Performing is a very strong passion of mine and I am glad I had the opportunity to perform in Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, as well as several music festivals such as the Killington Music Festival in Vermont, the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, and the Summit International Music Festival in New York. I try to focus the lessons on the individual student. I use faber books as my main method, but also incorporate a lot of sheet music for my students' different repertoires. I have taught many classes on music fundamentals and theory.  I am also very knowledgeable about Alexander technique - a technique used to help those who suffer from performance anxiety. For very beginning students, I usually start with the Suzuki Method Books and All For Strings Comprehensive String Method Books. I usually encourage my students to read music, but for the youngest students I start by playing with them and having them copy me. Once they are ready, I start teaching them basic music theory that will help them read music. For intermediate to advanced players I institute a routine of practicing scales and etudes as well as a solo piece that is appropriate for their ability level. Read More
